The Rhoer Club is an affiliate of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. that was started in 1939. The sole emphasis is to provide a positive experience for young women in leadership development, academic counseling, personal counseling, mentoring and community service.
The Rhoer Club Serves as an effective means to encourage our young women to have high education and career aspirations, prime them to meet challenges of adulthood, and teach them important life skills. The sorority is committed and dedicated to helping each Rhoer grow.
The Rhoer Club is open to young ladies ages 12-18 who are interested in education and who demonstrate a commitment to community services.

What is the goal of your club/affiliate? (what would you tell someone off the street that had never heard of this organization?)
Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority’s Rhoer Club program aims to develop young women into leaders, fostering qualities of womanhood and encouraging valuable contributions to society. The program inspires Rhoers to pursue their talents and career aspirations while promoting positive and healthy attitudes. It focuses on preparing them for adulthood by teaching life skills and encouraging high educational goals. Additionally, the Rhoer Club helps expand the Sorority’s membership with intelligent, dynamic young women who will continue Sigma Gamma Rho’s legacy of leadership.
What are the qualifications to be apart?
Young ladies ages 12-18
Minimum GPA of 2.5
Exhibit high standards of character and conduct
Willingness to participate in Rhoer sponsored activities
